Amazingly, with an ereader you can seemingly have access in real-time to the most current books and novels, even textbooks and study guides.  Perhaps the reason ereaders appear to be BREEDING is because ‘reading’, as an act, has morphed into being part of a much bigger picture than just the pastime of ‘reading’ in the traditional sense.  Ereaders are increasingly functional and perform specific tasks PLUS continue to allow the reader to enjoy their favourite pastime.  Hopefully what we’ve included in this post will be helpful for those with where-can-you-buy-a-kindle questions.

Since the beginning of time man has been creative, albeit in varying degrees, at different ages and across vast geographical expanses but, importantly, man is a creative being.  History books record many of our accomplishments and achievements across all manner of domains:  Literature, Engineering, Art, Technology, Medicine…

There are, however, many people ‘veiled’ from view yet, in many ways, they were (and are) the creative geniuses behind the face of many inventions and products. We have many war heroes, for instance, whose names have been etched into our history books, but who were the ‘creative heroes’ shaping the steel, building the equipment and designing the software applications critical for engagement?  Do we know their names?

J. K. Rowling has become a household name yet do we know who first had the idea to harness the power of an element of the earth (lead) so that our most precious moments, our funniest experiences, our craziest dreams, our scholastic achievements and our most tender love letters might be shared… remembered?  What about the person who created ink? Hmm….what was their name again?

NB:  Every person makes a difference in someone else’s life, whether they realize it or not.

Ereaders are not just for reading books anymore as you now have the ability to download apps, check email, listen to music, watch movies, chat and share online, all of which will only continue to expand and develop in the near future.  Interestingly, and excitingly, such technology advancement benefits self-published authors in a number of ways. With a kindle authors have a whole new space within which to create, share and grow.  No longer are prospective writers necessarily faced with the hassle of finding a publisher who shares the same vision as the budding writer.
